Look at that view – and the sun isn’t even shining! What an incredible location for a new off-grid, low-energy, eco house. With Planning permission recently granted, we hope to have the Building Warrant in place shortly to allow kick-off on site. We’ll be posting pictures as the work progresses, so watch this space!

‘Subterranean’ Wedding Venue – Scottish Borders

Before we upload pics of the completed project, here are some work-in-progress shots taken a wee while ago – the building frame developing, after the retaining walls had been formed. Realising this partially subterranean wedding venue involved moving a hell of a lot of earth, in a very remote location in the Scottish Borders……..

Making the most of the sea view….

Still early days, but we are very excited about the end results of the transformation of this simple bungalow in Padstow, Cornwall. Wedding venue in the Scottish Borders

It’s always nice to see one of our projects in the press. We can now share this very exciting ‘underground’ extension that we are working on, to create a pretty special wedding venue. New Build House in Hale -Progress on site

It might be a hugely complicated steel frame structure for this new build house, but the partitions are still good old timber frame. Services are now being installed and the underground car park is formed. Meanwhile, the curved structural glass walls are being manufactured in Italy, as progress continues apace!

Passivhaus : has it’s time come?

Passivhaus Each year the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) awards the Stirling Prize to the ‘best’ architecture project in the UK (EU pre-2015).
