We enjoyed a rare chance to get the whole team together for a soiree at the RIBA Stirling Prize dinner and award ceremony at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Old Trafford, Manchester.
It is an atmospheric local venue and the RIBA events team went to great lengths to prepare the evening for a rare foray out of London. Hopefully not the last.
Congratulations to Mæ for the John Morden Centre which won the Stirling Prize 2023. Overall, the nominations for all categories included some excellent designs and especially with a more positive human impact/ scale than some previous years.
It was good to see so many old friends and colleagues and celebrate great architecture over a few drinks, with good food: albeit with some questionable “tectonic” shapes being thrown on the dance floor.
