2 storey extension with outdoor kitchen and landscaping.

This design involved creating an open plan kitchen/ dining/ family room, flowing out to a covered external terrace for entertaining family and friends. On the first floor a new master bedroom was formed under a vaulted ceiling line, with an en-suite, walk in wardrobe and a spacious bedroom with views over the garden. A new garage, with private gym above, was also created.

To retain the character of the original house, the extension was designed to provide a sense of separation by the use of a flat roof link and a subtle recessed wall. This separation also allows a more modern approach to the extension while retaining the character of the house.
