This
project at Walton Locks, Stockton Heath, Warrington, lies on the banks of the
Manchester Ship Canal in a very prominent position on what is a historically
important site. The site marks the entrance to what were Warrington Docks,
connecting the River Mersey with the Manchester Ship Canal.
