Liverpool : 10 Years On. Liverpool’s Capital of Culture year in 2008 saw completion of the cb3 design’s Botanic Park Sports & Changing Pavilion.
A revisit this week shows the building now coming up to its 10th birthday.
10 years on, a few minor modifications have been made since completion; but otherwise the building with its distinctive roof profiles sits as intended to the south end of the historic Botanic Park.
The park dates from the 19th Century and includes an earlier walled garden which was originally a private facility. In 2001 the park became listed and is now designated as a Grade II* category after a review in 2013.
The changing pavilion allows local sport teams to base at the park, promoting healthy living for the wider area.
