key changes to the regulations.
Key changes include:
- Introduction of Approved Document Part
Q relating to security of dwellings; - In Wales (from Jan 16′) all new
dwellings, including conversions of existing buildings, will require the
installation of fire suppression systems; - Changes to Part M have split the Approved Document in two and make a greater distinction between
different types of dwelling
