We have a long and successful history of working with Cranford Estates on numerous residential and care home projects over a period of over 15 years. Pownall House was a small rural house which has been extensively extended and remodelled to create a distinctive family home. We took the existing planning approval and prepared new designs to further maximise the potential of the plot. This was an exercise in carefully managing the planning process, and possibilities of Permitted Development, to maximise what could be achieved under Green Belt Policy.

Situated between Alderley Edge and Knutsford, in the heart of rural Cheshire, Pownall House has been redeveloped to create a four/five-bedroom property with private gated entrance and elevated south east facing garden. In addition, the property has the benefit of 3 acres of paddock/amenity land which runs down to a stream.

The property sold in May 2016 for £1.3m and we have subsequently been working with the new owner to prepare proposals to adjust the property to reflect their requirements.
